This is one of the more complete walkie-talkie sets from Alecto. Where most walkie-talkies have a range that varies between 3 and 7 kilometres, the FR300 is distinctive to others by covering a distance of up to 10 kilometres. Furthermore, the FR300 IPX7 walkie-talkie set is equipped with VOX control. No hassle with buttons: talk into the microphone and the walkie-talkie switches on automatically.

The FR300 has 16 channels, plus 38 CTCSS codes. CTCSS (Continuous Tone Controlled Squelch System) is a noise reduction system. It makes it possible to share a radio channel with multiple users, without experiencing interference. An inaudible code is sent when transmitting through the IPX7 walkie-talkie. Only when the tone code of the sending handset matches the tone code of the receiving handset, the receiving handset will display the signal. This prevents you from being interrupted by other transmitting equipment that communicates on the same channel.
