This Profigold HDMI to VGA converter can be used to connect a PC or notebook with HDMI output to a VGA cable from your monitor, TV or projector. The maximum resolution of this cable is 1080p@60hz with a maximum transmission speed of 3.8 Gbps. Since HDMI supports audio, but VGA doesn’t, the audio signal would normally be lost in the conversion. However this adapter is unique because of the possibility to connect a 3.5mm jack audio cable. This enables you to transfer an audio signal to your (PC) speakers, amplifier or headphones.
